Our Story
Built by pet-care people, for pet-care people
Pack Haven exists because caring well and running well should not be in conflict.
Pack Haven began with in-home pet care: looking after animals in the places they feel safest, and treating each household's routine as something worth getting exactly right.
The care was never the hard part. The hard part was everything around it — keys and codes in text threads, feeding instructions remembered rather than recorded, schedules that only made sense to one person, and owners left wondering how the visit actually went.
Those gaps are where trust quietly breaks. Not through bad intentions, but through missing information. So we started designing the pet-care company we wanted to run: one where every visit leaves a record, every caregiver knows what is expected, and every owner can see the proof without having to ask.
That work turned into two things. Pack Haven Pet Care is the care itself, with a purpose-built daycare and boarding facility planned for the future, beginning with dogs. PackHaven is the operations platform behind it — now shaped so other independent pet-care businesses can run on it too.
We are deliberately building this in the open and at a careful pace: a small pilot first, honest language about what is live and what is planned, and no features that promise more than they deliver.

What we hold to
Four principles that shape every decision
Trust is earned in detail
Owners do not want reassurance — they want to know what happened. Timestamps, notes and photos beat promises every time.
Accountability protects everyone
Clear records protect the pet, the owner and the caregiver. When something goes wrong, the facts should already be written down.
Better care needs better systems
Caregivers burn out on admin, not on animals. Taking the chaos out of the day gives the care itself room to be excellent.
People make the decisions
Software should surface information and prepare the next step. Judgement about an animal stays with a person.
